PAKIT™ Selected to present at Sustainable Packaging Forum

PAKIT Inc., developer of fibre based packaging equipment technology announced today that Martin Aleksis, Vice President – Marketing and Sales has been selected to speak at The Sustainable Packaging Forum, September 26th - 28th, 2006 in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.
Aleksis’ presentation will speak to new developments in fibre moulding processes, the launch of the PAKIT 100™ in March 2006, and how it provides a Sustainable Packaging solution for the market. “There are many routes to Sustainable Packaging and new bio-based plastics are getting a great deal of attention. However packagers have other options to choose from including the original bio-based material – natural fibres, which by their nature are renewable, compostable and biodegradable.”
Aleksis will take part in a series of technical presentations outlining a comprehensive array of sustainable innovations. Each technology featured in this session was approved for presentation by the Sustainable Packaging Forum Advisory Board; the series theme is Sustainable Packaging Innovations - Materials, Processes and Services.
